Volunteer with Global Spokes

Every bike we give away passes through volunteer hands. You don’t need to be a mechanic. If you can spare a few hours, we have a job that fits.

Ways to help

  • Fix up bikes

    Clean, tune and repair donated bikes. We’ll teach you, and experienced mechanics are always welcome.

  • Pick up and deliver

    Collect donated bikes from neighbors and bring finished bikes to their new riders. A truck, van or bike rack is a big help.

  • Teach bike safety

    Fit helmets, show riders how to use lights and locks, and share the rules of the road.

  • Interpret and translate

    Help riders and families understand safety tips, forms and instructions in their own language.

  • Help at events

    Welcome families, sort accessories and keep giveaway days running smoothly.

Every bike that is donated by Global Spokes comes with a helmet, lock, and safety lights. It is our goal to do our best in providing good refurbished bikes with accessories that will support a safe biking experience.
